The Psychocrafter

My great-grandmother was an extremely talented seamstress. My great-aunt threw lovely parties. Long before the days of American Girl dolls, my grandmother made my sister and her dolls matching outfits. I come from a long line of crafty women.

For many years, I considered myself the anti-craft. I swore off all things handmade. Lately, I’ve become interested again. Most of my stuff still isn’t much to brag about, but I’m enjoying the process.

My friends and family think I’ve lost my mind. They may be right.
